Are your kits suitable for kids?

YES!
These kits are designed for kids of all ages.
However, keep in mind that adult supervision is recommended for younger kids.
The kits may contain small or sharp objects (like paper pins) that could be a
hazard for small children, and cutting may be required.

What's in the box?

Each box contains two components: A baking activity with pre-weighed ingredients and an easy to follow recipe card for a fun children's baking activity. A craft activity to make cupcake decorations / toppers with all the materials required.

This is a gift, can I add a gift message?

Absolutely! We think these would make excellent gifts. Add a message in the comments at checkout and we will include a gift message on your behalf.

Do you have a Gluten Free Cake Kit?

Yes! we have both gluten free and sugar free cupcake kits available.
We can also provide dairy free and vegan alternatives. Get in touch to find out more easypeasycakes@gmail.com. We are working on a gluten free biscuit recipe so check back regularly for updates.

Are your Kits Nut Free?

Our mixes are all nut free, however they are produced in a kitchen that does contain nuts. All efforts are made to ensure there is no cross contamination.

Are your ingredients natural?

YES! We use only natural ingredients (and organic as much as possible) that are free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. Even our sprinkles are coloured using natural food colourings!

Do you customise?

Absolutely. This is a big fat yes, so get in touch with me! easypeasycakes@gmail.com. I design and make everything myself, and love coming up with new ideas.

Are your kits environmentally friendly?

Sustainability is forefront of our business model. As much as possible we use only biodegradable, compostable or recyclable materials in our packaging and activity packs. We use organic products as much as possible, natural colourings and we do not include or use products that contain palm oil. There may be occasional times when we include items that do not meet these criteria, however when we do we will let you know. And know that we are always on the hunt to improve!

BAKING

Do I need to know how to Bake?

The kits are so simple it won't matter if you've never baked before! As long as you can work out how to turn on your oven, we have the rest covered for you in our easy to follow instructions.

What do I need?

All you need are the fresh ingredients - eggs, milk and butter (or allergy free alternatives).

When is it best to bake and decorate my cupcakes ahead of a party?

We suggest that cupcakes are best made the day before your party (for way less stress on the day!) however icing and decorating is best done on the day. Once the cupcakes are decorated store them in a cool place away from direct sunlight. It is best to cover or store in an airtight container to stop them drying out. Cupcakes can also be made ahead of time and frozen but there is risk that they will come away from the sides of their paper cases if you do this.
Cookies can be baked and decorated a day ahead. Decorated cookies should also be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

How long will it take to receive my kit?

Once you have placed your order and payment has been received, your order will be dispatched within 1-3 business days. If for any reason this is not possible, you will be notified straight away. You will receive an email to let you know when your order has been dispatched, along with a tracking number. Please be aware that there are significant delays to post times at the moment. While the post will aim to deliver your kit within 1-3 business days, it is taking longer, sometimes up to 12 days or more. Please keep this in mind when ordering.
